[[[P3 International P4400 Kill A Watt Electricity Usage Monitor]]]

Discription : Kill A Watt can help you reduce your power bill. Kill A Watt will help find power-wasting appliances then you decide whether it is worth keeping them plugged in. For standard 115 VAC appliances only, 15 Amps maximum, 125 VAC maximum.

More review coming soon.

This is not user friendly at all. The unit is designed so that you cannot have anything else plugged in as it leaves no room for the bottom half of a duplex outlet. Try to test your tv and you need an extension cord for the cable box or any other appliances you may have at an outlet. This was a poor design as all that had to be done was to reverse the locations of the plug and receptacle on the unit.
The unit has no memory. When unplugged it loses everything. You have to crawl under desks, behind furniture etc etc to read the numbers. Not very convient at all. Definately would not recommend it.

the kill-a-watt really surprised me. mostly because it's extremely easy to use and very informative as well. the fact that i could see my LCD tv wattage drop as i adjusted the settings (primarily the backlight) was amazing to me. The product specs (and the standard setting) measure the output of my 32 inch LCD HDTV at over 100 watts - but using the setting that i customized (which i find looks better and isn't so blindingly bright) the tv now uses only 42 watts! it's amazing to see that i just cut the TV wattage in more than half. i then measured everything else in the house, from the AC to the dvd player, to the xbox and wii, even the laptop that i'm writing this review on. It was also helpful in locating all the devices that drain power even when they are turned "off". cable boxes are horrible at this, using almost the same electricity when they are off, as they use when powered on. All in all, this product is a must-have for anyone that wants to end up saving money on their electric bill and for anyone that is just plain curious as to what their average electric consumption is.

No BULL!! This device does everything it claims--and maybe more. It can't reduce your power consumption, but it can let you know EXACTLY how much power a specific device is using. Let the pundents make their bets--then plug this baby in--and prove them worng. I like how it even has an accumulated time feature, so everyone knows the reading is legit.

Gives volts, watts, watt-hours, frequency, etc.
Yes, you do have to do some 3rd grade math to add up the scores, but given the lower cost of this model, you'll probably want two of these in your house anyway.

You can track power consumption of anything from a refrigerator to a power strip. (No knocking down candles at night, just to ocnserve the maximum power possible!!)
