To a large extent, this alarm clock as is described in detail, except for one small thing that bothered me before, and I can only say with certainty, because I of the item. Clock itself has a blue background color, as we can see in the picture.
It's the regular black color on a gray background, with the dim option which works only for couple seconds.
The projected beam can not be seen in a day light or with a turned lamps on.
Once the room is dark enough you can see the red beam. The further you put it away from the wall- the bigger the number.But if you will try to look at it from a distance of 9 feet like me than you can easily see the time with only very good eyes.
Overall the product is good if you intended to use 24/7 on an AC power. This is the only option of having the projected clock to work all the time.

Not great. Bought two if them. Tried one and returned both. Projection display too small.
